Library Resources and Services
Porterville College Library houses over 30,000 print books and 50 magazine, journal, and newspaper titles. Through the Library, students have access to 21 databases of online information from periodicals and books. Students also have online access to two full text electronic book collections (ebooks). The Library's special collection, Valley Writers, has over 500 book titles written by over 200 authors.
WI-FI as well as 15 computer work stations provide Internet access. Media resources include equipment to view DVD, CD, VHS, and cassette titles. Students can use study rooms, carrels, and the Reading Room for their school work. Faculty reserved materials can be viewed and copied by students.
