Rally
March 5, 2008
On March fifth, we put on a sports rally to introduce the current baseball and softball teams. At the rally, we sold ribs and tri-tip that was cooked by Dr. Bezayiff and Mr. Britton. We sold our ten racks of ribs and nine tri-tips in less than an hour. Throughout the rally we also put on some games like sack races and tug-a-wars. The winners got a variety of prizes like hats, shorts, and shirts bought from the Porterville College bookstore. Not only did we give prizes to the winners but we also gave out the shirts, hats and shorts to the people in the crowd. We had a very successful event. Thank you to all who came out and participated and supported us. We really, really appreciate it! If you missed the rally, we have more activities planned throughout the rest of the semester.
