Online EOPS Counselor

In order to qualify and be eligible for EOPS, a student must meet the following conditions:

  • Complete a Financial Aid Application
  • Be a resident of California
  • Be a full-time student
  • Be eligible to receive an A or B Board of Governors Tuition Fee Waiver
  • Have not completed more than 70 units or 6 semesters

Be educationally disadvantaged by at least one of the following criteria:
  • Not a high school graduate, or
  • High school graduate with GPA below 2.5, or
  • Been previously enrolled in remedial courses, or
  • Not eligible to enroll in ENGL 50 or MATH 55, or
  • Other factors as set forth in the District Plan submitted to the State Chancellor
