Online EOPS Counselor

Attention CARE students! Do you find it difficult sometimes to manage school, work, and
family? Do you think you are alone? Think again! Join our Support Group in the Fall. We will meet Wednesdays
from 1:00pm to 2:30 beginning September 17th. Contact Araceli or Carmen for more information. Space is limited.

Registration for Summer and Fall 2008 began April 15.
If you are on probation, you will need to meet with your counselor before you are able to register. Don't forget
to submit your Fee Waiver to the Financial Aid Office.

Remember that you need to have three individual appointments
every semester. The deadline for the 3rd appointment with your EOPS counselor is May 9.

It is not too late to complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA to apply
for financial aid. If you have questions or concerns about the financial aid application, please visit the
Financial Aid office.

Interested in teaching?
The California Mini-Corps program is open to students who are interested in working with migrant children
at the elementary and secondary school levels.

Now you can ask an EOPS counselor questions online!
Online counseling is available for EOPS students. The online counselor is also available to answer questions
about EOPS from anyone interested in the program. Please keep in mind that contact with the online counselor
does not count towards the three individual appointments students need to have every semester. Just click on the link
on the left menu.

Thinking about transferring?
The EOPS office has information you can take home about all the California
State University and the University of California schools as well as some private
institutions. Please check with Nora.
