New for 2007 - Dancing Under the Stars!
For the first time ever, this event will conclude with a dance. The Monache
Jazz Band will be performing music to get your toes tapping and your
feet moving! After the last silent auction closes, the dance floor
will open and the tunes will start. This is a perfect way to end the
evening and work off all the delicious food everyone has been
sampling.
Restaurants, Wineries and Auctions
With several Tulare County restaurants and wineries from both the Valley and the Coast, this year's
Jubilee
continues our commitment to provide a variety of tasting
opportunities for attendees. It will be held
on the Porterville College campus next to the beautiful waterfall
in the
quad area. The tasting and silent auction events will be accompanied
by live music provided by a trio from the Porterville Granite Monache Combined Orchestra.
The cuisine of several countries will be represented at the
Jubilee. Italian, Mexican and American dishes will be among the
many available for tasting. One of the restaurants even has
plans to BBQ on-site. Whether you are a vegetarian or just love
meat, there will definitely be something here for
you. For those of us who are looking for a touch of sweetness,
there will be a variety of offerings including
ice cream, tarts and bakery cakes. Visit our restaurant page

Several varieties of wine will be available for sampling.
Attendees will have the opportunity to compare vintages from
the Coast
as well as several from wineries in the Central Valley. Reds,
whites and dessert wines will be poured during the Jubilee.
Some of the wineries have made donations to the silent auction
so attendees will be able to take home their favorite bottle
or bottles if they make the winning bid. See who will be there

bar.
This is also your chance to experience the excitement and fun
of both a silent and live auction. Several packages will be available
for bidding during the silent auction. Keep your eye out, though,
or someone will swoop in right before the closing time and get
what your heart desired. There's nothing quite like a live auction
and the way your pulse speeds up when you hear, "Sold!" There
will be several items available including original artwork, evenings
out and
a trip
to a boutique
vineyard.
